The well-renowned property agent Pam Golding Properties has supported Tower of Life many times in the past.

In June, Pam Golding’s principal, Hannes Jansen van Vuuren, donated new tiles for their kitchen, which needed to be redone.

Natalie Xenophou, office manager at Pam Golding said, “We contacted them, asked what they needed and how we could assist. They said they were in desperate need of toiletries for the men, as it is a costly endeavour. So with the help of all our awesome sponsors – Snymans Inc, KVV Inc Attorneys, Allan Weideman Attorney, Ooba Westrand, Nel Attorneys and PMBI – we put together an awesome personal hygiene kit for them.”

The kit consists of a toothbrush, toothpaste, disposable razors, bars of soap, roll-on deodorant, face-cloths, body lotion and laundry soap.

Tower of Life cater for 80 to 90 men daily, who pay R20 a day to have a warm bed for the night, a hot shower and a meal.

There is also a women’s shelter, which will be the beneficiaries of their next community project.
