Just in: Clarity on last night’s fatal motorcycle accident
The accident happened in front of the Krugersdorp Police Station. The victim was declared dead shortly after paramedics arrived.
Community members have been asking questions about a motorcycle accident that happened close to the Krugersdorp Police Station.
Rumours about the incident quickly started to spread.
To clarify the details, the News spoke to Sergeant Tshepiso Mashele, spokesperson for the Krugersdorp Police Station.
The accident happened near the corner of Biccard and Commissioner Streets and emergency services were on scene to assist with trying to resuscitate him, but to no avail,” said Mashele.
The man was identified by family members as a father of two who lived in Krugersdorp West. The News is aware of his identity, but because we haven’t spoken to the family, we are not at liberty to reveal it.
The police opened a case of culpable homicide and investigations into the incident are continuing.
