Help the homeless have an incredible Christmas by donating to this local project

Non-profit organisations in Krugersdorp are collecting toiletries and gifts to give homeless people a better Christmas. Here's how you can help...

There are so many people in Krugersdorp who will spend their Christmas on the streets, cold and lonely.

But fortunately there are still people in the town who care about them. Some of them are part of the Krugersdorp War Against Drugs group and the Cosmos Angels, who will be hosting their very own annual Christmas Box project from August. The shoebox will be handed over to someone in the community who doesn’t have the means to buy important items.

How does it work?

Members of the community are requested to donate the following items:

• Black Croxley book with a message written inside

• Pen

• Toothbrush

• Toothpaste

• Soap

• Facecloth

• Small bottles of shampoo and conditioner

• Small bottle of body lotion

• Toilet paper

• Vaseline

• Lip ice/ Zambuk

• Roll-on deodorant

• Sanitary pads for women

• Razors

• Tissues

• A hat or cap

• Non-perishable foods (Two-minute Noodles and Cup-a-Soup)

• Sweets

• Plastic bottle for water

• A special gift so that they can also feel like it’s Christmas time

The team will then pack the items into Christmas boxes and hand them to homeless and less fortunate people around Krugersdorp.
