Another drug dealer off the streets
He was in possession of drugs and dagga.
Krugersdorp Police arrested a number of suspects for dealing in drugs and dagga on Monday, 20 August, during a routine patrol.
Warrant Officer De Klerk and his crew, which included Constable Nkoane, were doing normal patrols when they came across a suspicious man.

They searched him and found various illegal substances on him. They arrested the 30-year-old suspect and detained him at Krugersdorp Police station.

Brigadier Mashao, commander at the Krugersdorp Police Station applauded the members for their dedication and commitment to ridding the streets of Krugersdorp of drug dealers.
“We would like to call on community members to get involved in curbing these illegal activities that rob our children of a bright future.
Community members can get involved by providing information regarding these illegal activities. We will make sure we follow up on information provided,” said Brigadier Mashao.
But this is not the only arrest these officers made. They also arrested a suspect for possession of a stolen vehicle. However, his suspected accomplice managed to get away.

Sergeant Tshepiso Mashele, spokesperson for the Krugersdorp Police said it is believed the suspect stole the vehicle in Krugersdorp North. A ‘be on the lookout’ (BOLO) alert was issued for the vehicle and within a few minutes, the members identified a vehicle fitting the description. Warrant Officer De Klerk and Constable Nkoane chased the suspect in the vehicle.
“We applaud the members for being vigilant, and for their swift response that resulted in the successful arrests. Our members are committed to ensuring that the community of Krugersdorp is protected from criminal activities,” said Brigadier Mashao.
