Boni&Bike Cycle Challenge

It’s once again time for the Boni&Bike fundraiser taking place in Kagiso.

1 SEPTEMBER — It’s once again time for the Boni&Bike fundraiser taking place in Kagiso in collaboration with Mindful. Bring your bike with a R30 donation and ride in the 45km, 25km or 8km challenge. Don’t have a bike? No problem, you can hire one for R150. There will be food stalls, live music and a beer garden, so bring the whole family, entry is free. This event is supported by Virgin Active and participants will receive a Virgin Active voucher. For more information, call 061 457 1159.

Kerkbasaar

1 SEPTEMBER — Die Hervormde Kerk, Krugersdorp gemeente hou heerlike Lente Kerkbasaar! Kom geniet die dag saam met die gemeente. Daar gaan heerlike kosstalletjies wees, met musiek en speletjies vanaf 8.30vm. Dit vind plaas by 61 Wishartstraat, Krugersdorp-Noord.

Lente Boeremusiekfees

1 SEPTEMBER — Diamant4 bied ‘n Lente Boeremusiekfees aan by Diamant4 Landgoed, Muldersdrift vanaf 10vm tot laataand. Eie verversings en ‘n ‘cooler box’ is welkom. Kos en pannekoek sal egter te koop wees. Kaartjies kos R80 per persoon en kinders onder 12 is gratis. Drag is semi-formeel maar geen kortbroeke en plakkies nie. Kom geklee in rooi, blou of geel. Lentedans

1 SEPTEMBER — Die Tradisonele Boeremusiekklub aan die Wes-Rand hou ‘n Lentedans in die Witpoortjie Ontspanningsentrum op die hoek van Suid- en Vermootenstraat, Princess, Roodepoort. Bring jou eie mandjie met eet- en drinkgoed saam en dans op die maat van egte tradisionele Boeremusiek soos gespeel gaan word deur die Magalies Orkes, Outydse Klanke Orkes, Ferdie van Zyl, Stephaan van Zyl, Frik Smit en ander musikante. ‘n Lente koninging en twee prinsesse gaan gekies word. Classic Car show at Garden World

Garden World in Muldersdrift is hosting a classic car show.

1 SEPTEMBER — Garden World in Muldersdrift is hosting a classic car show which will have vintage car enthusiasts’ hearts revving with excitement. It’s a fun experience that features vintage cars, classic cars, muscle cars and much more. It’s a petrol-head’s go-to event, and not to be missed. Entrance is free. The show kicks off at 9am. Hike the Koppies

Join a guided group tour through Melville Koppies Central.

2 SEPTEMBER — Join a guided group tour through Melville Koppies Central. The tour sets off at 3pm sharp. You can park in the upper car park at Marks Park in Judith Road, Emmarentia, then walk across Judith Road to our entrance. Costs are R60 for adults and R40 for children – all donations used to maintain the Koppies. ­Children must be over six years old. Sorry, no dogs.
