Krugersdorp’s CPF Exco appoints new chairperson
Even though the CPF operates in five-year terms, a special meeting was called after former chairperson, Gert Jonker, resigned from his position.
The Krugersdorp Community Policing Forum’s (CPF) executive committee recently appointed their new chairperson, who will serve from August 2018 until 2020.
Even though the CPF operates in five-year terms, a special meeting was called after former chairperson, Gert Jonker resigned from his position.
Tom Roux, who served as the vice-chairperson from 2015 until now has been appointed as the new chairperson. He is going to be responsible for all nine sectors for the rest of the term.
He will also serve as the most important link between the CPF, the community and the police.
With a few other minor changes, their current executive committee is as follows:
Vice-chairperson: Werner Roets
Secretary: Charlotte Kahn
Vice-secretary: Sharleen Jonk
Treasurer: Brian Bradnick
Public Relations Officer: Piet Sparks
