The Bethany House Trust celebrated its 20th birthday on the evening of Friday, 24 August and it was nothing short of spectacular.

Mmusi rented one of their apartments on the premises while he was a student, but he also used to be one of Bethany House’s directors before his political career took off.

The event mainly served to thank those who have been supporting Bethany House over the past 20 years. The children also gave thanks in their own special way when they presented their audience with the reciting of a poem, a stand-up comedy act and a song, among other things.

They were also thrilled when Donald Nyirenda and a few boys from Ikusasa Community Development paid a visit and captivated the audience with a few dance moves. The evening was ended off with a delectable meal which was enjoyed by all.
