Heroes in blue awarded for their service excellence

Nominees in a large number of categories waited with bated breath to hear who would be named the best of the best.

There are heroes who walk among us every day, people to whom one could never be grateful enough for choosing a life of public service.

These men and women serve and protect the public with little recognition for the incredible job they do to help maintain a civilised culture.

The purpose of the annual West Rand Cluster Police Prestige Awards, which was held at Usambara Lodge on Wednesday, 5 September, was to give recognition to service excellence and hard work in line with the South African Police’s strategic objectives.
