Help find missing Shaun

He was last seen hitchhiking near McDonald's on Luipaard Street at about 7pm on Sunday evening.

Friends and family are urgently searching for a 24-year-old man who went missing on Sunday, 16 September.

Shaun Banda is approximately 1,74 metres tall and has a slender build. He was last seen hitchhiking near McDonald’s on Luipaard Street at about 7pm on Sunday evening.

He was wearing a black Nike jacket, skinny black jeans and ankle-high Fila sneakers. He also has a small dreadlocks.

According to one of his friends, Romeo Buys, he lives in Krugersdorp for work purposes, and travels to his mother in Florida when he has days off.

“He was hitchhiking to Florida to see his mother, but he never arrived. Nobody has seen him since,” he said.

“We have been to all police stations in Krugersdorp and Roodepoort, as well as to Dr Yusuf Dadoo and Leratong Hospitals, but still no trace.”
