Blougat Spruit claims another victim

Nothing could be done for the woman and she was declared dead.

The body of a woman, believed to have been in her 20s, was found floating in the Blougat Spruit situated just off Robert Broom Drive near Munsieville, in Krugersdorp West.

ER24 paramedics, along with the local police, were called to the scene at about noon yesterday afternoon. 20 September.

Upon arrival, paramedics and police divers found the body floating in the Spruit. The police divers retrieved the body and returned it to the nearby riverbank. An awaiting police helicopter then airlifted the body to the ER24 paramedics.

Unfortunately, upon assessment, paramedics found the woman had been dead for some time. Nothing could be done for her and she was officially declared dead.

The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
