Man burned with hot iron for money
A 65-year-old man was tortured when he could not give his attackers more money.
The Muldersdrift Police are investigating a case of house robbery that took place at Elandsdrift on Tuesday, 16 October, during which a 56-year-old man was tortured before he was robbed and left tied up.
According to reports, the man was at home when a woman knocked on the door requesting to buy airtime.
When the man opened the door, two men and the woman, armed with knives, forced their way in and overpowered the man.

He was stabbed in his lower body and the attackers demanded money. He showed them the money that was on the table but the attackers wanted more.
They took a hot iron and burned the man, then they tied him up and left with an undisclosed amount of money. He was taken to hospital for his injuries.
