Family seeks donations for critically injured Terrence Venter

A local campaign hopes to raise medical funds for a critical head-on collision victim needing prolonged hospital care.

A West Village family is appealing to the community for financial assistance after their son was critically injured in a head-on collision in Boltania, Krugersdorp West.

Terrence Venter was left in a critical condition following the crash on September 24 near the bridge on Tom Muller Street.

At the time of the collision, Venter was travelling in his vehicle, closely behind his wife and two-year-old son, who were in a separate car. His mother, Chantelle, confirmed that the crash occurred when another driver attempted to overtake a truck.

Venter has been bedridden in hospital for three weeks, with medical expenses near R150 000. A BackaBuddy campaign has been established to assist with donations.
