The annual Sons of Promise Men’s conference promises to be an event to remember.

This year’s event is all about instilling hope by igniting men to be the reconcilers of our nation.

The conference will take place at the Rhema West Church, 261 Voortrekker Road in Monument, Krugersdorp.

It kicks off, on Friday 19 October at 7pm, with an opening ceremony. Lots of praise and worship and a message about forgiveness, by Zimbabwean businessman, Rusty Labuschagne.

Labuschagne was wrongfully imprisoned for more than a decade and will talk about how true forgiveness is inspired by God. Saturday Pastor Don Phillip (Rhema Umtata) and Norman Clack (Rhema West) will be inspiring the men from 10am, while the women can attend a cooking class. There are also a whole morning of fun activities planned for the children. Registration for Saturday, 20 October is R100 per man and free for women and children accompanying him.

The Sons of Promise initiate was started by pastor Norman Clack, senior pastor at Rhema West. His vision is to create a brotherhood of men united by their faith, masculinity and responsibility.
