[WATCH] Mogale Licensing Department closed for the day – community turned away

The department will only be available for collection of drivers' licences and for those who have appointments.

Residents are urged to refrain from going to the Mogale City Licensing Department in Delporton for the remainder of today, Friday, 19 October, as it is closed to the public.

It has been confirmed that council will be hosting a breakfast for all women in council. Absence of excess community members was requested for the occasion.

“This is against the ‘Batho Pele’ principal which means ‘People First’,” Tyrone Gray, the Chief Whip of the Democratic Alliance (DA) said.

The department will only be available for collection of drivers’ licences and for those who have appointments. It will be open again tomorrow, Saturday, 20 October, from 8am until 11am and as normal from Monday.
