Fun festival raises funds for worthy cause

Through the initiative they aim to assist with the alleviation of poverty, prevent women and child abuse, curb substance abuse, rape and teenage pregnancy.

Thalita Koum Solutions joined hands with over 30 organisations through a Cultural Heritage Fundraising Festival.

Thalita Koum Solutions (meaning Rise Up Little Girl) is an non-profit organisation of which the core objective and vision is to render support to small and emerging organisations to roll out their services to their respective communities.

The event was aimed at raising funds to support and assist the community organisations to be financially sustainable whilst promoting indigenous heritage and culture. Through the initiative they aim to assist with the alleviation of poverty, prevent women and child abuse, curb substance abuse, rape and teenage pregnancy.

Supporters were entertained on the day by live band performances, drama, comedy, local gospel and hip-hop singers, and kids and sporting activities.
