Heroes join forces for community
The fire department thanked the sector and Grinding Techniques for their efforts
The Community Policing Forum (CPF) of Sector 3 (Krugersdorp North and surrounds) recently came up with the initiative of giving back to their fellow heroes – the West Rand District Fire Department.
They subsequently partnered with Grinding Techniques in an effort to sponsor a total of 10 railway-cutting discs that would assist in extreme emergency cases. According to Simon Wilson from Grinding Techniques, these discs are designed to cut through almost anything, including heavy railway and even burglar bars.
The official handover was held on Monday, 8 October at the NG church in Krugersdorp North and welcomed many great enthusiasts who are passionate about their community.
The fire department thanked the sector and Grinding Techniques during the event for enabling them to effectively save as many lives as possible.
