“Taverns or shebeens failing to comply with the basic rules and regulations of the Liquor Board are costing residents dearly. Liquor trading businesses that close beyond stipulated times are failing their communities,” said Captain Solomon Sibiya, spokesperson for the Kagiso Police.
On Sunday, 11 November at about 3am a 56-year-old man was stabbed to death at the Tshepisong West (Ebumnandini) tavern.
