A woman from Munsieville was allegedly killed by her ex-boyfriend on 12 November at about 6.45pm.
Witnesses apparently heard the 34-year-old woman screaming from her room and decided to go and investigate.
When they arrived, they saw a man stabbing the woman with a knife.
The woman was declared dead on the scene.

It is believed the 43-year-old suspect, who handed himself over to the police, is the woman’s ex-boyfriend. He has been detained at the Krugersdorp Police Station and charged with murder.
“Crime against women is still a challenge in our community. We therefore urge our community members to be of assistance if they suspect a man or woman might be the victim of domestic violence. Report such cases to the police for further investigation and assistance,” said Sergeant Thepiso Mashele, spokesperson for the Krugersdorp Police.
She added that there are shelters that work closely with the police to provide places of safety for victims of crime. According to her, the police are committed to investigating such cases.
