[UPDATE] Licensing Department only partially open

Licensing Department will only be open to those who have made a booking for today.

The News has received numerous calls from the public asking if the Mogale City Licensing Department will be open today, after it was closed yesterday due to a robbery which took place.

The News has confirmation that the department will only be open for those who have made online bookings for their learner’s and driver’s licences as well as people who have made bookings for licence renewals.

The Department is requesting those who have made bookings for today, to please pay with a card, and not cash.

The Department was closed yesterday after 15 men disarmed the security guards and ransacked and robbed the offices.

Police are appealing to the community for any information which may lead to the apprehension of the 15 suspects.
