Man killed while praying in a field

A man was shot and killed while praying in a field. Police are searching for suspects.

While praying in an open field next to the corner of Robert Broom Drive and Moorcroft Street, three men were accosted by two unknown men.

The suspects demanded that the three men hand over their money and cellphones before shooting and killing a 48-year-old man.

The suspects then proceeded to rob another group also praying nearby.

The victims were all from an informal area in Soweto, but the identities of the suspects are still unknown.

The Krugersdorp Police are urging anyone with information that could help arrest the three men to come forward.
