The Kagiso Police, Mogale City’s Public Safety and Youth Desk and the Elinye Ithuba drug rehabilitation centre recently conducted searches at two local high schools.
“During the searches we received a tip-off about a dagga merchant operating next to a taxi rank,” Captain Solomon Sibiya, spokesperson for the Kagiso police said.
He added that they arrested two people, one for possession of drugs (Nyaope) and another for possession of a dangerous weapon.
