Many Krugersdorpers have complained and enquired why their electricity has not been restored this morning (18 March) as scheduled after last night’s planned load-shedding.
The News received an answer from the Mogale City Local Municipality (MCLM) this morning to the effect that during the night, the Factoria Substation had reportedly been vandalised by as yet unidentified culprits.

Municipal workers are currently fixing the substation, and MCLM believes it should be up and running again by 12 noon today.
