Krugersdorp Police creating awareness

The Krugersdorp Police recently teamed up with several other role players to visit local schools. Their aim was to create awareness of several issues among the learners.

Various departments of the Krugersdorp Police, including the Communications and Social Crime Prevention Department, recently teamed up with the Department of Sports, Art and Culture to visit schools in the area to speak to the learners at various schools.

Actors from local soapies like Skeem Saam, Generations, Isithembiso, IsiBaya and eHostela joined in when they visited Thuto Lefa Secondary School and ProPracticum LSEN school.

According to Captain Raymond Sebonyane, spokesperson for the Krugersdorp Police, they created awareness of issues such as substance abuse, bullying and teenage pregnancy.
