Jaws of Life used to free man from Krugersdorp crash

Just before 7am this morning (Wednesday, 24 April), Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the N14 behind the Krugersdorp Game Reserve.

A report from Shawn Herbst, Media Liaison Officer at Netcare 911, states that the scene indicated that the driver of a light delivery vehicle lost control, resulting in a rollover.

A man was assessed on scene by paramedics and was found to have sustained moderate injuries in the collision. The Krugersdorp Fire and Rescue Services were called to extricate him from the vehicle with the Jaws of Life.

Once stabilised, the patient was transported by ambulance to hospital for further treatment.
