Three Koppie Group Hike

28 APRIL — Join a three-koppie group hike of up to 8km or three hours through the Melville Koppies. Hike sets off at 8.30am sharp. Park in the top parking area at Marks Park on Judith Road, Emmarentia, then walk across Judith to the entrance. Costs are R60 for adults and R40 for children – all donations are used to maintain the Koppies. Hikers must be fit with good balance as paths are rocky and steep. Richies Toy and Model Car Fair

Come and visit Richie’s Toy Fair at the Marks Park Sports Club.

28 APRIL — Come and visit Richie’s Toy Fair at the Marks Park Sports Club, corner Judith Road and Beyers Naudé Drive from 8.30am; you’ll be spoilt for choice! The fair is organised by collectors for collectors and will showcase all kinds of collectible toys, trains and models, which will be for sale. Leading specialist dealers will be at the show, selling all kinds of new and old collectibles. You can find model cars, lorries, buses and airplanes, Star Wars, Dinky Toys, Matchbox, Hot Wheels, Corgi Toys, James Bond and other TV and film-related collectibles, Lego, Scalextric, model railways, teddy bears, action figures and much, much more. West Side Craft Market & Food Market

Pigeon Show

27 APRIL — The Westrand Roller Union is hosting its annual Birmingham Roller Pigeon Show at the Horison Pigeon club, Paul Kruger Avenue, Horison from 10am. Pigeon enrollments start at 8am.
