Three car accident on Main Reef Road
Three cars were involved in a rear-end and front collision on Main Reef Road this morning.
Traffic was diverted into the service road alongside Main Reef Road this morning at about 8am after the road was cordoned off by authorities following a crash.
Three cars were involved in a collision, leaving all four lanes closed for a while.
Reports from eyewitnesses at the scene indicate that a sedan rear-ended a stationary hatchback which was attempting to turn onto Farrel Street. The hatchback was reportedly pushed into the oncoming lane where a small bakkie collided with it.

Witnesses also noted that one woman was treated and stabilised on scene before being taken to hospital, but no one was seriously injured.
All the necessary authorities were on scene.
