Motorcyclist dies in collision in Hekpoort

Netcare 911’s response units arrived at the scene of a collision at about 9.20am on Saturday, 4 May.

Reports from the scene indicate that a light delivery vehicle and a motorcycle were involved in a collision on the R560 between Skeerpoort and Hekpoort.

The man driving the motorcycle unfortunately sustained fatal injuries and was declared deceased on the scene by paramedics.

Netcare 911 noted that circumstances leading up to the collision will be investigated by police officers, who were also on the scene.
