Scooter accident delays traffic on Voortrekker Road

A scooter driver was injured in a collision at the Voortrekker Road and Paardekraal Drive crossing yesterday, 6 May.

At about 10.30am, Netcare 911 responded to reports which indicated that a scooter and a car had been involved in a collision.

The woman driving the scooter sustained moderate injuries and was treated on the scene by paramedics before being transported by ambulance to hospital for further treatment.

The accident delayed traffic at the busy crossing for a short while until the scene was cleared. However, traffic soon continued as normal.

All the relevant authorities were present.
