“The world will be a better place if the youth were remembered and not treated like the future doesn’t depend on them. The road to voting is very interesting to us as youth, because as the majority we get to decide who will lead us regardless of colour or beliefs, but based on what they have to offer us to improve our lives.
The things that matter to us; the freedom to receive a better education, to grow our businesses, to achieve financial stability and sustainability and the freedom to be housed without bribery. We as the people should not look at what was, yet we should never forget the past so as not to repeat it.
We should look forward to what will be as we investigate these political parties and what they stand for. Even though we know that they all have promises they might never fulfill, it will be our mandate as the future of the land to vote for the correct leadership and stand for what we feel is right.
8 May will be our chance to make a stand and to make the change we want to see. We will go out in droves to make our mark, to communicate to our leaders what is wrong and to make the X that will determine our nation’s future.” – Boys Mnguni, aka DJ Grizzly.
