Besoekers kan daarna uitsien om van hul gunstelingkarakters in topproduksies op die hoofverhoog te sien, wat Lollos en Lettie, Tjiff en Tjaff, Gretha Pers, Michelle Botha se poppeteater en die Die Laaste Mango/ The Light Warrior insluit. Mother’s Day at Ngwenya

JHB WA Mozart Choir and Orchestra in concert

12 MAY — The WA Mozart Choir is delighted to offer community members who enjoy classical music the choir’s biggest production ever. The performance by the Choir and Orchestra in Concert in the Linder Auditorium at 3pm is not to be missed, and is the ideal Mother’s Day present for classical music lovers. The performance includes the well-known, awe-inspiring 1812 Overture by Tchaikovsky with a full symphony orchestra. Hanli Stapela and Aukse Trinkunaite are among the wonderful soloists. Koppie Hike

12 MAY — Join in on a three-hour hike at the Melville Koppies, starting at 8.30am sharp. You can park in the top parking area at Marks Park on Judith Road, Emmarentia, then walk across Judith to the entrance. Costs are R60 for adults and R40 for children – all monies are used to maintain the Koppies. Hikers must be fit with good balance as paths are rocky and steep.
