Accident on R24 Magalies claims two lives

On Monday night, just after 7pm, Netcare 911 units responded to reports of a collision on the R24 near Orient Hills in the direction of Magaliesburg, involving a car and a delivery bakkie.

The driver and passengers of the bakkie came out of the accident without any injuries. However, a woman and a child tragically passed away on the scene. A man and another child sustained moderate injuries and were treated on the scene by advanced life support paramedics, and taken to hospital by an ambulance.
