The Cradle of Hope Damestee

25 MEI — Dis weer tyd vir die Cradle of Hope se jaarlikse damestee, en hulle het gasvrouens en gaste nodig! Die oggend is ten bate van The Cradle of Hope, sodat hulle nog mammas en kinders in nood kan help. Hulle benodig 50 gasvroue om 50 tafels vol te maak. Die geleentheid vind by die Suiderlig Kerk in Krugersdorp-Wes plaas en begin om 10vm. Koste is R165 per persoon. Kosmos Family 4X4 Fun Day
26 MAY — Kosmos Lodge hosts an annual charity event at which they raise funds for various charities, with Girls and Boys Town (GBT) being the principal beneficiary. The event is taking place at Hobby Park in Rangeview. This will be a very special day for the less privileged youth of GBT, since they are involved in the day. There are fun activities planned for them, while some will be selected to act as marshals, which helps to develop their sense of responsibility and leadership. Many of the youth at GBT have experienced extremely difficult family circumstances. Cost to enter your vehicle is R250 per driver and R20 per person. This is a family-orientated day with food stalls, paintball, braai facilities, hiking, fishing and mountain biking. It promises to be a lot of fun. Basaar
31 MEI — Daar word weer Basaar gehou by die NG Krugersdorp-Noord gemeente, op die hoek van Viljoen- en Derdestraat, van 4nm. Daar gaan heerlike musiek wat jou voete sal laat juk wees, tradisionele basaarkos soos kerrie en rys, pannekoek, poeding, pap en wors, hamburgers, chip-n-dip, koeldrank en baie meer. Daar gaan ook tuisgebak wees soos ma/ ouma dit gedoen het. Die eetgoed is heerlik! En daar sal ook hope vermaak vir die kinders wees. Kom geniet die aand saam met ons, die atmosfeer is aansteeklik! Moet dit nie mis nie!
Rotary Bingo Evening

31 MAY — The Rotary Club of Krugersdorp and its Anns are hosting their extremely popular annual Bingo evening to raise funds for various community projects. The event takes place in the Centenary Hall at Krugersdorp’s Town Hall, with safe parking available. All monies raised are ploughed back into the community. Come and join an evening filled with fun, laughter, entertainment and lots of great prizes that can be won in our lucky draws. Extra Bingo cards and lucky draw tickets will be available. Book a table now to avoid disappointment. The cost for a table of 10 persons is R1 200 or R120 per person. The entrance fee includes one free Bingo ticket and one entry for the Lucky Draw. You can bring your own eats and drinks, but Rotary will provide soup and rolls.
