[WATCH] Movies you have to watch before going back to university
Here are some movies we suggest you watch before you go to university. These are all about the good ol' college days.
Soon it will be back to school and back to reality, especially for university students. We have some suggestions for movies that you can watch to get you in the mood.
First up, we have Pitch Perfect.
College student Beca (Anna Kendrick) knows she does not want to be part of a clique, but that’s exactly where she finds herself after arriving at her new school. Thrust in among mean gals, nice gals and just plain weird gals, Beca finds that the only thing they have in common is how well they sing together. She takes the women of the group out of their comfort zone of traditional arrangements and into a world of amazing harmonic combinations in a fight to the top of college music competitions. Also watch Pitch Perfect 2 and 3.
Next up is Drumline.
Set against the high-energy, high-stakes world of show-style marching bands, Drumline is a fish-out-of-water comedy about a talented street drummer from Harlem who enrols in a Southern university, expecting to lead its marching band’s drumline to victory. He initially flounders in his new world before realising that it takes a more than talent to reach the top.
Don’t forget Bad Neighbours 1 & 2
New parents Mac (Seth Rogen) and Kelly (Rose Byrne) move to the suburbs when they welcome an infant daughter into their lives. All goes well with the couple, until the Delta Psi Beta fraternity moves in next door. Mac and Kelly don’t want to seem uncool, and they try their best to get along with frat president Teddy (Zac Efron) and the rest of the guys. However, when the couple finally call the cops during a particularly raucous frat party, a full-scale war erupts.
What about 22 Jump Street?
Although they made their way through high school successfully, an investigation at a local college brings big changes for undercover officers Jenko (Channing Tatum) and Schmidt (Jonah Hill). When Jenko meets a kindred spirit on the football team and Schmidt infiltrates the bohemian art-major scene, both men begin to question their partnership. Not only do they have to crack the case, but now the two overgrown adolescents must learn how to behave like adults.
