Eskom announced this morning that stage 2 loadshedding will be implemented from 9am today, 31 January until 6am Monday, 3 February.
This is due to a shortage of generation capacity and depleted emergency resources, which were used extensively to supplement capacity over the past few days.
In addition, they are taking out three big units for maintenance today.
