The West Rand District Health Services is currently conducting Covid-19 screening and testing operations on the West Rand.
Their screening facilities will be set up at various locations throughout the lockdown period, where residents can go in and be screened for free.
The process is as follows: during screening, you will be asked a few pertinent questions to determine the general likelihood that you could have contracted Covid-19, or at the very least have come in contact with it.

If determined that you are in danger of having contracted the virus, you will be sent or taken to their testing facility where you will actively be tested for Covid-19 at no cost to you.
As announced by the West Rand District Health Services, the facilities will be available at the following locations and dates:
7 April:
• Kagiso’s Green Hostel, Kagiso Mall and Chief Mogale Hall
• Rietvallei Ward 34 (Extension 2 and 4)
• Swanieville (Mayibuye section)
8 And 9 April:
• Kagiso Extension 2: Bangkok, Zulu Jump and Tsakane
• Kagiso Extension 6: Hillsview and Riverside
• Kagiso Extension 8: Dr Masibalanga and Father Gerald
14 April:
• Luipaardsvlei Park
• Kagiso Extension 1: Kagiso Hostel, Kagisanong hall, Sinqobile and Soul City
15 April:
• Krugersdorp West’s Burgershoop Hall
• Magaliesburg: Orient Hills, Magalies Shopping Centre, Ga-Mogale and Syferbult
• Hekpoort: Manarant and Hekpoort Raid Centre
16 April:
• Muldersdrift: Malatji, Rhenosterspruit, Video Centre and Plot 89
• Kromdraai shops near the clinic
