Covid-19 causes Revenue Services to close a second time

The building will remain closed to the public while it is being disinfected thoroughly.

The Mogale City Local Municipality (MCLM) Revenue Office will be closed until Monday, 20 July – again due to Covid-19 infection among its staff.

The premises were officially closed on Thursday, 16 July after two employees tested positive for the virus. This after the office had been closed exactly a week earlier on Thursday, 10 July for the same reason.

The building will remain closed to the public while it is being disinfected thoroughly.

“Operations will resume on Monday, 20 July at a possible reduced capacity as some employees may need to self-isolate,” said Refilwe Mabena, MCLM Communications Officer.

The MCLM further encouraged ratepayers to make the necessary payments at Pick n Pay, Shoprite, Checkers, Woolworths, Spar, Usave, President Hyper or through EFT from any bank. Physical deposits can be made at Standard Bank branches.
