EPR security has released their Krugersdorp crime report for the weekend from 31 July to 2 August.

During this time EPR responded to seven incidents. Johan Krogh, General Manager for EPR West Rand said that three of these incidents were in the same street in Monument. The incidents ranged from break-in and theft to trespassing.

A case of gate-motor theft was registered in Oatlands.

At one business on Rustenburg Road in Krugersdorp West, a person was warned after walking off with body wash and cream without paying.

In Monument thieves made off with two car radios, a battery and tools after breaking into a vehicle.

EPR reaction officers responded to two house break-ins – one in Monument as well as one in Kenmare.

“Homeowners are urged to remove valuables from vehicles parked outside overnight, and also to lock garden sheds and outside store rooms as these are easy targets,” suggested Krogh.
