This past weekend was a busy one for EPR Security in Krugersdorp.
Their crime statistics for the long weekend from Friday, 7 August to Monday, 10 August, revealed that four house robberies and one armed robbery were reported.
According to Johan Krogh, General Manager for EPR West Rand said on Saturday, 8 August robbers made off with 400 cellphones and R800 in cash during an armed robbery in Krugersdorp North.
The next day, Sunday, 9 August, a resident from Noordheuwel noticed a 9mm firearm lying in the road and contacted EPR Security who phoned the police, Krogh said.
The firearm was handed to the police and it was established that the weapon was registered to a Kenmare resident.”
