Ward 37 announces new ward representatives

The DA took over the ward following the 2016 local elections with Christo at the helm. Now in 2020, Douglas Rabie has been appointed as branch chairperson.

Mogale City’s Democratic Alliance (DA) recently celebrated the election of their new Ward 37 representatives as well as the formation of the new branch.

Dr Christo Kotzé successfully launched the new branch for the 2020/ 2021 term on 24 August where he will stand as ward councillor.

The DA took over the ward following the 2016 local elections with Christo at the helm. Now in 2020, Douglas Rabie has been appointed as branch chairperson.

His fellow elected officials include Lenie Muller standing as vice-chairperson, Sharday van den Berg as secretary and DA youth representative, and Marietjie Kotzé as the DA Women’s Network representative in the ward.

“The launch of the branch was followed by a general meeting where Douglas addressed the many residents present about the branch’s achievements thus far, and elaborated on the realistic objectives set for the new term. The DA’s dedication to the cause based on loyalty, commitment and hard work will lead to a positive outcome.”
