Jam-packed weekend for nature and music lovers

Looking for something to do this weekend? Look no further

Guide yourself through the Melville KoppiesWhile guided tours and hikes have been suspended due to the pandemic, the koppies are not closed to visitors. Nature lovers are invited to visit the koppies and guide themselves. The cuckoos have also returned from the north and are looking for a mate. Bring your binoculars and try to spot the different cuckoos. The Melville koppies guides will also be on hand to help with any questions. So if you want to go and explore the koppies, why not visit them from 8am on Sunday mornings and guide yourself to be out by 11.30am. There is secure parking. Entrance for adults is R80 and R40 for scholars. They ask visitors to try and bring the exact amount, and that groups larger than ten pay in advance via EFT. If you have any other queries why not contact them on 011 428 4797 or visit their website at www.mk.org.za.
