Ms De Bruin wins News/Key West Quest competition

"I've never won anything in my life," Ms De Bruin said excitedly.

Born and raised Krugersdorp resident Liezel de Bruin was busy doing her morning exercises when she received the exciting news that she was the winner of the News/ Key West Quest.

“I’ve never won anything in my life,” she said excitedly, adding that while she was busy figuring out the clues she told her husband that she had a feeling that she was going to win this competition.

Liezel, a Client Liaison Officer for a local law firm said her job, coupled with the fact that she grew up in the area, really helped her when she was figuring out the locations.

She has won R5 000 worth of Key West vouchers, and said this could not have come at a better time. She plans on spending the money to make her and her family’s festive season more special.

Although it seems Liezel’s family has other plans, she laughed when she told the News about the Christmas lists her sons had already sent to her.
