Municipal lines are down

The Mogale City Local Municipality would like to inform the public that their phone and internet lines are currently non-operational.

The Mogale City Local Municipality (MCLM) has been experiencing difficulties with their telephone lines and other network connections since Tuesday 24 November.

“MCLM hereby notifies customers that our call centre number, 086 166 4253 and other telephone lines are not in operation. This is due to a technical fault linked to the municipal network affecting all incoming and outgoing calls as well as the online system on our website, which customers use to conveniently view their statements,” said MCLM Corporate Communications representative, Refilwe Mabena.

Although it is difficult at this stage to advise how long it will take to repair the fault, technicians are currently on site attending to the matter. In the interim, customers are encouraged to send urgent enquiries and service requests to customerservices@mogalecity.gov.za,” she added.
