Fuel station on Paardekraal targeted: Money and cigarettes stolen

They threatened the cashier with a firearm and took an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes before fleeing on foot – Krugersdorp Police.

Captain Raymond Sebonyane, Krugersdorp Police spokesperson confirmed that a case of business robbery is being investigated after a fuel station was targeted on Paardekraal Road over the weekend.

He said the incident occurred at approximately 10.30pm on Sunday evening, 29 November.

Sebonyane explained the cashier was busy assisting customers when two unknown men entered the shop and walked behind the counter. They threatened the cashier with a firearm and took an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes before fleeing on foot.

No shots were fired and no injuries were reported. The investigation continues,” Sebonyane said.

Brigadier Ngwako Mashao, the Krugersdorp Police station commander made an appeal to the community to assist them with any information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects.
