Take note: Planned water interruption for parts of Krugersdorp on 11 Feb

Mogale City Water Services to conduct scheduled work on water supply line on Thursday, 11 February.

The Mogale City Local Municipality (MCLM) recently announced a planned water supply interruption in the Rant-en-Dal, Chancliff and some Krugersdorp North areas between 8am to 6pm tomorrow, Thursday, 11 February.

Adrian Amod of MCLM Corporate Communications said, “Work will be carried out at the corner of Struben Avenue and Robert Broom Drive to make way for the installation of a pressure-reducing valve, which will help reduce the risk of water leaks and lessen burst pipes in that area.

These areas are expected to experience low water pressure or no water supply during this period and, as a consequence, the municipality has arranged for water tankers to supply water to residents in the affected areas.

“Respective ward councillors are advised to contact Water Services manager Duncan Mkhonto and indicate the exact locations where water tankers should be stationed. Ward councillors will in turn advise affected community members of the water tanker locations.”

The MCLM Water Services Division call centre can be contacted on 086 166 4253.
