Looking to reconnect with God? Join In Victory Church

Are you looking to connect with new people and to reconnect with God? Then why not join the newly established In Victory Church?
In Victory had their very first service on 7 February and the couple at the head of this new life-giving church, Erik en Alicia Boshoff, said they are excited about the future. The couple wants to provide people with a place where they can get the physical and spiritual support they need.
Erik explained that he was called by God during lockdown to start his own church. They decided to open the church in Krugersdorp because he believes the town has a lot of potential.
Erik believes that there are big things on the way for Krugersdorp and South Africa, and he wants to be part of the big change.
“Everyone is welcome, and we want them to walk out as changed persons,” he said.
Alicia came up with the name for their new church. She explained that she attended a conference focusing on victory. The word has always had a deep meaning to her, and it was logic to choose victory when they had to choose a name.
“Our vision is to transform people’s lives in victory through Jesus Christ,” she said.
Erik has been in the ministry since 2012 and explained that he wants this new church to equip people with the right tools for them to be victorious in their own lives. Then they can go out and help others to be victorious.

The church has had outreaches – the first at the beginning of the year when they handed out care packages to the teachers of Hoërskool Noordheuwel, Krugersdorp High School, Laerskool Kenmare and Monument Primary.
They also host a prayer day every Thursday and sometimes even a prayer walk, when they walk through the streets and pray for the town.
There are two services on a Sunday, an Afrikaans service at 8.30am and an English service at 5.30pm. You have to book your space because with Covid-19 regulations only a limited number of people can attend.
They are situated at 10 Dirkie Uys Avenue at the Lamori Amour Wedding Venue. For any other enquiries visit their Facebook page In Victory Church.
