Police are asking the public to assist them with any information regarding the whereabouts of the man pictured.
According to Captain Solomon Sibiya, the Kagiso Police spokesperson, the man pictured is believed to be part of a group of robbers who entered a doctor’s surgery and robbed the doctor of her cellphone, demanded her bank PIN code and locked the patients in the examination room.
“The group of armed thugs targeted and robbed more than three surgeries in the same fashion,” said Sibiya.
He asked that anyone who recognises the suspect in the picture please call Sergeant Mokhitli on 083 623 9638 or use the Crime Stop number on 08600 10111.
“You may also call the nearest police station or use our SMS line on 32211 and remain anonymous.”
