Captain Sebonyane said when they arrived at the school they were warmly welcomed by the headmaster, Renier du Preez, who said the purpose of the invitation to the Krugersdorp Police was to thank them for their selfless work in the community and at their school.

They wanted to show their appreciation towards the police and tell them that their work does not go unnoticed, especially during Covid-19.

The police received a warm welcome.

The school awarded the police with a certificate of appreciation, which Lieutenant Colonel Mogotlane accepted on behalf of Brigadier Mashao, the Krugersdorp Police station commander.

Mogotlane also thanked the principal and school management for welcoming them into their school and expressed his appreciation for the gesture.
