Five learners from St Ursula’s School recently participated in a Global Art Exchange with other Ursuline schools.

Students from across the globe in all different age groups as well as a few art teachers participated by creating an artwork that depicted something significant to their Ursuline school or the Ursuline sisterhood.

The five learners were Thapelo Modise (Grade 10); Sienna Still (Grade 10); Yorke Coulson (Grade 11); Simphiwe Mkhonza (Grade 10) and Busi Nhlapo (Grade 10).

The participants could choose from a wide variety of mediums, which included digital art, drawings, ceramics, photography and multimedia.

The Ursuline Academy Wilmington who helped to organise the initiative received hundreds of submissions from around the world.
