Help needy kids and donate a blanket

Winter is knocking at our doors and the Krugersdorp Child Welfare needs your help to keep the vulnerable children warm.

Everyone is feeling the cold nipping at us. The layers of clothing we wear increase, so do the blankets we keep ourselves warm with at night.

Unfortunately not everyone has a warm blanket to cuddle up in at night; but fortunately there is a way the community can help keep the most vulnerable of our community, the children, warm this winter.

The Krugersdorp Child Welfare has launched a blanket drive and they need your support.

By donating a blanket you can keep a child warm this winter. You can drop off the blankets at any of the drop-off points in Krugersdorp North, Allen’s Nek, Willowbrook or Florida.

The drive will run from 10 to 31 May, and for any additional information you can contact 011 953 1908, 084 779 4889 or 084 207 7674. Collection can also be arranged.
