Query, dispute or pay outstanding traffic fines without fear of arrest this Saturday

The Mogale City Local Municipality (MCLM) and Public Safety would like to remind the public of their upcoming traffic outreach event in the Cradlestone Mall parking area from 8am to 1pm on Saturday, 29 May.

Here, residents can “… query, dispute or pay outstanding traffic fines without fear of arrest,” according to Refilwe Mahlangu, MCLM spokesperson.

“As part of the municipality’s drive to take services to the people, Public Safety is rolling out a series of community visits to help motorists settle their outstanding traffic fines without fear of arrest. This is a great opportunity for motorists to enquire about pending fines which they may not be aware of and even settle fines that have passed the due date. Our municipal prosecutors will also be on site for those who wish to dispute or make requests for reduced penalties,” Refilwe explained.
